Job Title: Piping Superintendent
Job Description
The purpose of the Piping Superintendent position is to provide the necessary leadership to plan, organize and direct projects of any size or complexity. The candidate must possess the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting project completion requirements and profitability objectives, while also maintaining and building good customer relationships.
Responsibilities
+ Lead with safety at the forefront by integrating comprehensive safety planning into all pre-job and daily operations, ensuring the consistent use of appropriate PPE and safety equipment, conducting regular safety meetings, and enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
+ Take ownership of project productivity and financial outcomes as defined by the Estimating and Project Management teams, analyzing daily and weekly reports to identify areas needing improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain budget alignment.
+ Ensure all work aligns with the overall project timeline, strategically planning labor and equipment needs to optimize workflow and minimize delays, and proactively identifying and resolving productivity challenges.
+ Collaborate closely with the project team to develop and maintain daily, two-week, and overall project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed.
+ Maintain a thorough understanding of the project scope, monitor daily productivity to ensure targets are met, and take timely action to address any deviations.
+ Manage multiple job sites as needed, demonstrating flexibility and strong organizational skills, capable of leading large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
+ Represent the company in project and strategy meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment with client expectations.
+ Mentor and develop field labor and equipment operators, providing leadership to all supervisory staff on assigned projects.
+ Oversee all subcontractors on your projects, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
+ Manage all required field-level reporting, including digital daily logs, production tracking, crew schedules, two-week lookaheads, safety documentation, and material ticket processing with accurate cost coding.
+ Implement and manage GPS systems on assigned projects to enhance tracking and efficiency.
+ Identify, document, and manage Time & Materials (T&M) and Change Order work across all projects, ensuring client approval and documentation are secured before initiating any work outside the original contract scope.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in construction management, specifically as a piping superintendent.
+ Experience in water, sewer, force main, storm water management, and earthworks.
+ Bilingual in Spanish.
+ Strong supervisory skills and experience in subcontractor management.
+ Proficiency in PC software and systems such as HCSS, Microsoft Office, PDF, Emailing, Using Spreadsheets, Online Plan & Document Storage, Microsoft Project (or other scheduling platforms).
+ Strong organizational, management, oral and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read and understand all civil, structural, and architectural plans, specifications, contractual requirements as well as knowledge of the materials, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the work.
+ OSHA 30-hour certification.
+ HazMat (OSHA 40 worker and 8-hour supervisor) certification.
+ CPR / AED and Basic First Aid certification.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $60.00/hr.
