    Position Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated and mechanically inclined Engineering Test Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. This individual will play a key role in the testing and validation of precision sensing components, supporting both product development and production efforts. The ideal candidate is a go-getter with a strong mechanical foundation, a keen interest in learning, and a solid understanding of electrical testing principles.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up and execute mechanical and electrical tests on precision sensing components and assemblies.

    • Operate and maintain test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools.

    • Interpret engineering drawings, test procedures, and technical specifications.

    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues during testing.

    • Record, analyze, and report test data accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement.

    • Assist in the development and refinement of test fixtures and procedures.

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company and industry standards.

    Qualifications Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

    • Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, calipers, and other precision tools.

    • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with small components and assemblies.

    • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and signal testing.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow within a high-tech environment.

    • Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability industries.

    • Familiarity with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, etc.).

    • Knowledge of data acquisition systems and test automation tools.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
