Job Title: Quality Control Specialist
Job Description
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for reviewing documentation, including records, procedures, and forms, to ensure quality endpoints and compliance requirements are achieved. This role involves actively leading or contributing to data relevant to Quality Systems Compliance during periodic Management Review meetings, as well as assisting Quality Management in coordinating and actively participating in Quality or Compliance related projects.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct product tests and assessments in an industrial or warehouse setting to ensure that specifications are met and that the product, material, or supply will function as intended.
+ Perform in-process and final product/result inspections and clearances on the production floor to ensure consistency.
+ Identify product defects or potential issues and determine resolutions.
+ Analyze lab or usability test results to identify defects and ensure they do not persist.
+ Maintain detailed records of product defects or manufacturing issues to help identify and eliminate recurring problems and provide accountability and error reporting.
+ Report issues or defect findings to supervisors or plant managers to aid in manufacturing decisions.
+ Support process improvements throughout testing and quality assurance processes.
+ Suggest improvements to address systemic problems found during quality control, ensuring consistent product production and error elimination.

+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree within a Scientific discipline
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in quality control, quality assurance, or laboratory settings

+ Quality inspection capabilities
+ Batch record review
+ Understanding of FDA regulations
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Requires an Associate's Degree
+ Preferred one or more years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a regulated environment or other job-related experience
Work Environment
The work environment is a clean and regulated laboratory setting with a friendly company culture. The shift is Sunday through Thursday, from 11 pm to 7:30 am, with a training schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 8 am to 6:30 pm. Training will last approximately 3-4 weeks, during which employees will review testing benches and shadow Technologists.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
