    Job Title: Digital Signal Processing Engineer

    Job Description

    Join a leading high-technology systems development team as a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in Signal Processing. This role involves working within an innovative Radar Technologies department to lead systems development for new radar signal processing capabilities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance radar detection and tracking systems in complex environments.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop new radar signal processing capabilities for challenging environments, including clutter and electronically contested areas.

    + Conduct system analysis and trades to develop architectures and algorithms, generating requirements.

    + Create algorithms and simulation models to assess performance and support Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.

    + Collaborate with software and hardware engineering to define computational needs and architecture, including CPU, GPU, FPGA, and hybrid systems.

    + Work in a multidisciplinary team to plan backlog, implementation approaches, and integration and test plans.

    + Analyze data from simulations and field tests, troubleshoot issues, and devise fixes or design updates.

    + Represent the company in technical reviews, meetings, and formal design reviews.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline with progressive engineering experience.

    + 18+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 16+ years with a Master's, or 13+ years with a PhD.

    + Detailed technical expertise in engineering principles, concepts, theory, and practice.

    + Experience in project leadership and ability to coordinate workloads to meet deadlines.

    + Proficiency in Radar Systems, Signal Processing, Digital Beam Forming, Electronic Protection, Ground Clutter Mitigation, and Radar Calibration.

    + Experience with systems tools and simulations using Matlab, Python, and/or C.

    + Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with development tools like Confluence, Jira, and Git.

    + Familiarity with Digital Beam Forming techniques.

    + Experience developing radar system-level simulation capabilities to validate mission capabilities.

    + Experience with the Department of Defense.

    + Experience developing Electronic Warfare techniques is a plus.

    + Experience developing track architectures and algorithms is a plus.

    Work Environment

    You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced research and development environment. The role involves interfacing with various departments and professionals, requiring a customer-focused approach, whether working independently or as part of a team.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $110.00/hr.
