Job Title:

Vacuum Truck Operator

(Direct Hire)

Pay:

30-40/hr

Description:

Candidate must have prior experience operating Vac Trucks and must be okay with working as part of a crew and working alone. On most projects, the candidate will be running a line with a locator, but previous experience with locating, installing, removing, or working with underground utilities would be a huge plus! Candidates with experience in utilities would be able to hook up to gas, water, and sewer lines.

Candidates are expected to meet at the shop in Northfield every morning by 6:30 am. The teams will generally work on-site until it makes sense to head back to the shop. Through the summer, they can expect to be back to the shop by 6 pm. Candidates are paid for drive time to and from the shop to jobsites.

Work Environment:

Expected Spring/Summer/Fall Hours M-F 6:30 am-6 pm. On Fridays, they generally try to head back to the shop earlier. Usually offer optional OT on Saturdays.

Expected Winter Hours. They generally don't do layoffs. The schedule is project-based through the winter, but usually allows candidates to get hours every week.
