Job Title: Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled mechanics to join our team and work on a diverse fleet of cars, trucks, and diesel engine vehicles. Our mechanics are categorized into three levels based on expertise and experience: Class A, Class B, and Class C.

Responsibilities

+ Class A Mechanics: Perform complete overhauls of diesel and gas trucks, including dismantling engines and transmissions, replacing bearing kits, working on upper oil pans on diesel engines, and handling brakes and alignment.

+ Class B Mechanics: Handle brakes, lights, electrical systems, safety checks, DOTs, tune-ups, install EGR valves, work on upper-level turbos and actuators, and manage software updates on the fleet.

+ Class C Mechanics: Conduct tire rotations, oil changes, preventive maintenance, and pre-delivery inspections.

Essential Skills

+ 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic

+ Proficiency in diesel troubleshooting and mechanical diagnosis

+ Skills in repair, electrical work, hydraulics, and preventive maintenance

+ Experience in automotive repair, pneumatics, and welding

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 1 year of experience as an auto mechanic

Work Environment

Work in a well-equipped shop with 24 bays, operating Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm. Mechanics can choose to start their day at 7am, 8am, or 9am. Experience a wide variety of vehicles, including brands like Cummins, Isuzu, Allison, Chevy, and Ford.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

No weekend work

Direct hire

Steady 40-50 hours

GROWING! Looking to add a 2nd shift as well and travel crew for anyone who wants that

Access to as much Ford training they the company pays for upon completion
