Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, relief valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, and motors.

+ Diagnose and fix electrical issues involving VFDs, transformers, 480V, 240 single, and 3-phase systems.

+ Install 3-phase wiring and run conduit and wire.

+ Observe mechanical devices in operation to identify causes of trouble and dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts.

+ Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements and adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.

+ Repair or replace defective parts, lubricate, and clean machines.

+ Start machines to test their performance and repair electrical equipment and control systems.

+ Maintain records in compliance with applicable quality procedures and conduct plant-wide safety checks on equipment.

+ Repair and perform preventive maintenance on all auxiliary equipment, tagging completed work.

+ Implement lockout/tagout procedures.

+ Troubleshoot up to 480V.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ GED or high school diploma.

+ Experience with 480V and 3-phase systems.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ Experience running conduit and wire.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting VFDs, transformers, and electrical systems.

+ Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience.

+ Ability to troubleshoot pumps, valves, hoses, cylinders, conveyor belts, chains, and motors.

+ Experience with gears and motors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
