Job Title: Warehouse Specialist

Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate shipments to customers through distribution order picking, stocking, packaging, and inventory control tasks. This position requires flexibility and willingness to work across various areas of warehouse operations, with the potential to train others.

Responsibilities

+ Perform all responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate, including packaging and palletizing orders.

+ Load and unload trucks efficiently.

+ Process stock transfers and material requests promptly.

+ Replenish production and warehouse as directed.

+ Timely process physical and ERP goods movements and receipts, ensuring documentation and physical condition verification.

+ Assist in timely returns processing and support cycle counting activities.

+ Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts.

+ Label orders for shipment including dangerous goods, international, and carrier paperwork and/or labels; certifications provided when needed.

+ Complete verifications of items picked for accuracy and condition.

+ Generate work orders and sales orders from ERP.

+ Assist in orientation and cross-training of Warehouse Associates.

+ Troubleshoot issues as they arise, escalating to warehouse leadership appropriately.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in order picking, packaging, kitting, and inventory control.

+ Proficient use of RF Scanner and pallet jack.

+ Ability to efficiently perform material handling tasks.

+ Capability to handle shipping and receiving processes.

+ Experience in palletizing and labeling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Certification in handling dangerous goods is a plus.

+ Knowledge of ERP systems for generating work and sales orders.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
