Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of three to five union millwrights and electricians. This role requires strong mechanical or electrical experience and will involve 100% supervision of various industrial equipment including cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines. The supervisor will also manage secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders. The position includes regular inspections and recording of electrical equipment conditions, working collaboratively with engineering, operations, and quality control during emergency breakdowns, and coordinating machine downtimes.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and direct maintenance personnel, setting up daily schedules.

+ Inspect and record conditions of electrical equipment such as cranes, motors, generators, and circuit panels.

+ Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality control teams during emergency breakdowns.

+ Coordinate machine downtimes and input work orders into the CMMS program.

+ Perform some maintenance on forklifts or lifting equipment.

+ Read blueprints and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 480V single and three-phase.

+ Possess PLC troubleshooting or programming experience.

+ Lift up to 50lbs as needed.

+ Perform general shop cleanup as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 7+ years of Maintenance Supervision experience.

+ Strong industrial mechanical or electrical experience.

+ Experience supervising at least five maintenance technicians.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficient in inputting data and tracking work orders inside a CMMS program.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
