Hiring a Utility Worker in Carlisle, PA!

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to ensure the efficient flow of materials within the TPO line, including compounding and blending. This role involves operating key equipment such as the extruder, calendar, and winder, all the way through the packaging process, to produce high-quality TPO sheeting products. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations and a strong commitment to quality and precision.

Responsibilities

+ Complete production and quality paperwork.

+ Follow the TPM program and maintain 5S standards.

+ Set up equipment and produce products according to processing specifications.

+ Assume the role of Team Leader during vacations, meetings, and absenteeism of the TPO Team Leader.

+ Calculate and report output accurately.

+ Identify products and track output using SFIS equipment.

+ Complete maintenance work orders.

+ Verify the accuracy of productivity and quality information generated for the shift and pursue required corrections.

+ Train new crew members.

+ Complete T3P’s, Non-Standard T3P’s, and STP’s.

+ Use proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.

+ Follow safety precautions to prevent leaks or equipment damage, especially when handling cylinders weighing up to 60 pounds.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in inventory management.

+ Proficiency in operating a forklift.

+ General labor skills.

+ Reading and Math.

+ Computer Skills.

+ Skills in picking and loading.

+ Material handling expertise.

Rotating Shifts

+ 7am - 3:30pm or 3pm - 11:30pm or Fixed 3rd shift 11pm - 7:30am

Pay

+ $26 / Hour (Paid Weekly).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
