Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to participate in the execution of our Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to all quality control processes and procedures. The role involves using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to conduct various inspections and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
Participate in the execution of the current Quality Management System.
+ Execute all QC adopted processes and procedures.
+ Interrogate supplied models and customer documents using CAD software for open setup and CMM inspections.
+ Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections, reporting results on approved forms.
+ Utilize an established recordkeeping system for proper storage of QC data.
+ Follow guidelines in the 'Digital Manufacturing File Maintenance' manual.
+ Program, set up, and operate various Coordinate Measuring Machines.
+ Perform open setup inspections using manual measuring tools.
+ Compile and maintain inspection reports and records.
+ Report quality issues, trends, and losses to management.
+ Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by a supervisor.
Essential Skills
Experience with CNC, machinist work, mills, and lathes.
+ Ability to operate mills and lathes.
+ Proficiency in using measuring equipment.
+ Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
+ Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
+ Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma (Required).
+ Valid Maryland driver’s license (Required).
+ Continuing studies and certificate programs (Desired but not required).
+ College degree (Bonus).
+ Previous job experience (Desired but not required).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
