Job Title: Reach Truck Operator - Crown

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Reach Truck Operator who is flexible with scheduling and ready to work extensive overtime hours. The role involves operating a Reach Truck forklift in a storage cooler environment with temperatures reaching minus 20 degrees.

Responsibilities

+ Operate Reach Truck forklift in a minus 20-degree storage cooler.

+ Pick and stage orders efficiently and accurately.

+ Ensure safety protocols are followed while handling equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating Reach Truck and Crown forklifts.

+ Experience as a forklift operator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish; bilingual is a plus.

+ Comfortable working in cold temperatures of minus 20 degrees.

Work Environment

The facility is a food distribution center located in Medley, operating in a fast-paced environment, especially from July to November. The front area maintains temperatures between 40 to 45 degrees, while the back area, where you will primarily work, is minus 20 degrees. Safety is a priority, requiring steel-toed boots and proper gear for cold temperatures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medley, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
