Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to efficiently manage and coordinate shipments, ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. This role involves handling orders for small package and LTL shipments, checking in shipments from vendors, and putting away products as they arrive. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various departments such as sales, accounting, and engineering to manage shipment logistics and costs, and use woodworking tools to build custom crates.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and process orders for small package and LTL shipments.

+ Check in shipments from vendors and organize incoming products.

+ Pick parts and supply products to production as needed.

+ Collaborate with sales, accounting, and engineering departments to manage costs related to shipments.

+ Use woodworking tools to build custom crates for shipments.

+ Lift and move items weighing between 12lbs to 42lbs as part of daily operations.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in ERP systems

+ Minimum of 1 year working within a warehouse environment.

+ Consistent job tenure of 1+ year in all previous positions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous forklift experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Standard hours from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The environment is climate-controlled, ensuring comfort while you work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
