    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Circuit Card Assemblers responsible for producing quality work to prescribed standards, focusing on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow written work instructions and maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, including those governing the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment.

    + Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    + Participate in LEAN Events, 'Six S' activities, and action teams.

    + Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

    + Perform entry-level assembly functions, including prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection.

    + Perform simple assemblies and hardware installation, including screws, washers, nuts, and have a basic understanding of build documentation.

    + Conduct pull-test and verify tooling, use torque tools, and have the ability to interpret and assemble multiple units in depth.

    + Perform basic troubleshooting tasks.

    + Access production tools such as routers, parts lists, and work instructions, and perform wire prep, auto bond, and sleeving tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in **assembly and circuit board assembly.**

    + Ability to solder and perform electronic assembly.

    + Understanding of mechanical assembly and blueprint reading.

    + Proficiency with hand tools for circuit board repair and circuit assembly.

    + Experience with panel board, assembling, soldering, and cable assembly.

    + Knowledge in assembling electronic components for aircraft and submarines, including reading blueprints and wire tabulation.

    + Skills in board assembly, assembly line, wire harness, and quality control.

    + Experience in crimping and wiring.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean and controlled environment with a casual dress code. Assemblers will use ESD wrist straps and wear smocks over their personal clothes. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 6am to 3:30pm, and every other Friday from 6am to 2:30pm. Overtime is expected and required once hired.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of **Johnstown, Pennsylvania**

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
