Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with all production and facility equipment. The role involves performing routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure quality standards are met. Daily documentation is required, along with assisting in equipment changeovers and production processes as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Diagnose and repair problems with production and facility equipment.

+ Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.

+ Ensure quality standards are consistently met.

+ Document maintenance activities daily.

+ Assist with equipment changeovers and production processes.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical knowledge.

+ Understanding of pneumatics, motors, and drives.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and electrical schematics.

+ Proficiency in using a multimeter.

+ 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Ability to check for a blown fuse.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 3-5 years or more of industrial maintenance experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial and clean, though not climate-controlled. The position follows a 2-2-3 shift pattern from 6 PM to 6 AM, with training on day shifts for 4-6 weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
