Job Description:

+ While working on-site in Smyrna, TN, perform Maintenance Control duties for an airline that operates CRJ and ERJ aircraft

+ Provide clear information affecting maintenance status, action plans, return to service estimates, and other technical information as required to Flight Operations, Management and Maintenance Department personnel

+ Communicate directly with flight crewmembers when operational discrepancies are discovered, and obtain all necessary information needed by technicians to perform prompt and effective repairs

+ Utilize maintenance tracking computer systems and accomplish the planning, scheduling, and logistics to complete all scheduled maintenance activities

+ Control and tracking of all deferred maintenance items (DMI)

+ Provides point of contact and control for maintenance performed on Company aircraft away from main maintenance base

+ This role will be primarily working in an office environment

+ Maintenance Controllers will obtain Gen Fams on CRJ and/or ERJ aircraft as part of training

+ Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

+ 1+ yrs' experience as a Maintenance Controller OR 3+ years of experience maintaining CRJ or ERJ aircraft

+ FAA A&P License

Pay:

+ $85,000/yr base salary

+ While on Contract, you will be able to earn OT pay ($61.29/hr) for any OT hours

Work Schedule:

+ Must be flexible on shift – as this is an operating airline, you may be asked to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays

+ Their typical schedule is 1 st or 2 nd shift, working 4x10s – either Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat

+ They do expect 10-20 hours of OT per week right now until they are fully staffed

+ They may require some on-call work

+ 6-month Contract to Hire

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
