Job Type: Permanent, Second Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. This position involves welding large-diameter pipes—up to 120 inches—primarily using fluxcore techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in welding, a willingness to learn, and the ability to contribute to a high-quality production environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform welding on carbon steel pipes up to 120 inches in diameter.
+ Execute fluxcore welding with a focus on structural integrity and precision.
+ Conduct back gouge welding as required.
+ Assist with pipe fitting tasks when applicable.
+ Maintain accuracy when working with materials ranging from ¼ inch to 1 inch in thickness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
+ Proficiency in fluxcore welding is essential.
+ Experience with back gouge welding techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret tape measurements accurately.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience welding boilers or pressure vessels.
+ Familiarity with stainless steel welding is a plus.
+ Coachable, reliable, and open to continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
+ Competitive pay with a 7% shift differential for second shift work.
+ 90-day performance evaluation with potential for wage increases.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility that produces steel pipe for water treatment systems. The environment is industrial and not climate-controlled, offering a hands-on, real-world welding experience. All positions are second shift, with some flexibility in start times.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $58240.00/yr.
