Job Title: Warehouse Lead

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to assist the manager with administrative tasks and oversee the bulk of manual labor activities. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of daily warehouse operations, including sit-down forklift operation and pulling orders.

Responsibilities

+ Assist manager with administrative tasks.

+ Handle bulk of manual labor tasks.

+ Operate sit-down forklift.

+ Pull and organize orders.

+ Load and unload trucks.

+ Manage inventory efficiently.

+ Perform computer operations related to warehouse tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in forklift operation.

+ Experience in inventory management.

+ Ability to pull and organize orders.

+ Material handling expertise.

+ Experience in loading and unloading trucks.

+ Computer operation skills related to shipping and receiving.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Comfortable working in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

+ Experience handling insulation and other construction products.

+ Willingness to perform manual labor.

Work Environment

The work environment is in a smaller, non-climate controlled warehouse, specializing in insulation supply. Employees should be prepared to handle insulation materials and other construction products.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Chesterfield, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
