Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with a strong experience in architecture, engineering, or construction management. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires expertise in preconstruction, scheduling, budgeting, buyouts, and working with subcontractors. A passion for learning and an open-minded approach are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

+ Collaborate with subcontractors to define project scope and work specifications.

+ Utilize software such as Procore and ACC to track and manage project progress.

+ Coordinate preconstruction activities, including procurement and budgeting.

+ Conduct cost analysis and change order management.

+ Lead project coordination, site development, and pricing strategies.

+ Implement effective bidding processes and handle requests for information (RFIs).

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent.

+ 5-10 years of experience in construction management, specifically in the pharmaceutical industry.

+ Proficiency in project management and construction estimation.

+ Experience with commercial and life science construction.

+ Strong ability to manage subcontractors and oversee construction supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

+ Proven experience in leading and managing large teams.

+ Intermediate understanding of core engineering disciplines and project execution.

+ Minimum of 8 hours of leadership/supervisory training annually.

Work Environment

This position requires office work five days a week. You will be part of a collaborative team in a new office, contributing to building a presence in New Jersey. The company offers a small company feel within a national organization, providing significant growth opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
