Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Job Description

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing quality control processing, labeling, packaging, and offloading of inbound shipments from Vendor Partners. This role requires physical activity including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., along with standing, walking, bending, and carrying products for extended periods.

Responsibilities

+ Perform various receiving functions within the department and rotate to other warehouse functions as needed for training or operational purposes.

+ Label and package items accurately.

+ Cut flaps and remove tops from boxes.

+ Sort products efficiently.

+ Unload parcel trailers and move skids using pallet jacks.

+ Conduct quality control processing using RF scanners.

+ Accurately count inbound products and match them against vendor packing slips.

+ Report any receipt discrepancies promptly.

+ Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area by disposing of garbage, cardboard, and plastic wrap appropriately and adhering to safety policies.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.

+ Forklift experience, both sit-down and stand-up.

+ 6+ months of warehouse experience.

+ High school diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift certification.

+ Previous warehouse and/or receiving experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
