Job Title: Commercial HVAC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing HVAC-R systems, starting up installed commercial HVAC-R systems, and performing regular maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC units. The technician will ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment. On-call duties and additional tasks may be required.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair HVAC-R systems.

+ Start-up of installed commercial HVAC-R systems.

+ Perform regular maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC units.

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes.

+ Maintain a safe work environment.

+ Perform on-call duties as required.

+ Complete additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.

+ EPA certification or willingness to take the EPA exam within a month of starting.

+ Ability to learn and take direction from supervisors.

+ Ability to work at heights and in varying temperatures.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

+ Ability to sit, stand, and climb stairs and ladders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Technical school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired but not required.

+ NATE certification or similar is desired.

+ Experience with DDC/Pneumatic control and boilers license is desired.

+ Refrigeration experience is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $87360.00/yr.
