Job Title: MIG Welder-2nd Shift
**Location:** Ocala, Florida (34475)
**Shift:** 2nd - (2pm-10:30pm/3pm-11:30pm M-F)
**Pay:** $25/hr
**Job Type:** Contract-to-hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable MIG Welder to join our fabrication team in the manufacturing of dump trailers. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding steel components for trailer manufacturing and a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform MIG welding on steel trailer frames and components
+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
+ Inspect welds for accuracy and quality
+ Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area
+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
+ 2+ years of MIG welding experience (trailer or heavy equipment welding preferred)
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
+ Strong understanding of welding safety practices
+ Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
+ Welding certification a plus
Work Environment:
+ Non climate controlled work environment
+ Will get dirty and be hot in the summer
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
