    Job Title: Tool and Die Machinist

     

    Shift: 2nd (20%shift premium)

     

    Pay: $32-$37

    Job Description

    As a Tool and Die Machinist, you will be responsible for leading the construction of multiple products simultaneously. You will interpret design blueprints to determine the die and mold making plans, perform operations with precision, and ensure compliance with corporate standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead the construction of several products concurrently.

    + Interpret design blueprints to develop die and mold making plans.

    + Perform operations with very close tolerances.

    + Inspect your own work for quality and accuracy.

    + Collaborate with Engineering and Programming teams throughout the manufacturing process.

    + Operate various machinery including Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, and EDM machines.

    + Comply with Corporate EHS, Quality, and HR rules and standards.

    + Effectively work and communicate as part of a die making team.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of tool making or mold making experience.

    + Machining experience on tooling.

    + Set up and operation of Bridgeport machines.

    + Blueprint reading and interpretation.

    + Basic math and trigonometry knowledge.

    + Thorough knowledge of the tooling process.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the construction of turbine and airfoil molds and dies is strongly preferred.

    + Ability to lift 40 pounds.

    + Possession of own tools and toolbox.

    Work Environment

     

    These positions are based at a newly renovated facility in Brecksville, OH, which supports the main site. The environment includes CNC Machining and Tool & Die work, and is temperature controlled for comfort. The second shift operates from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with potential overtime at the end of the shift. A sign-on bonus of $5000 and relocation assistance of up to $7500 are offered. Employees receive a 20% shift premium for working the second shift.

    The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $76960.00/yr.
