Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd and 3rd Shift

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, where your expertise will be vital in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our injection mold facility. We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong mechanical and electrical skill set to support and maintain our diverse range of equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on injection mold machines, automation equipment, secondary equipment, grinders, vacuum loaders, and water systems.

+ Handle electrical troubleshooting and maintenance tasks with a focus on mechanical skills.

+ Engage in preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment efficiency and safety.

+ Collaborate with team members to address maintenance needs and implement solutions independently.

+ Work with PLCs and controls, enhancing facility operations.

+ Utilize schematic and blueprint reading skills for effective troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience.

+ Multicraft experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.

+ Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

+ Injection molding experience preferred but not required.

+ PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

+ Controls experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

This role is based in a climate-controlled injection mold facility equipped with 150 mold machines serving prominent customers. Shifts available are 2:45pm-11:15pm and 10:45pm-7:15am. The facility operates with a focus on safety and efficiency, requiring steel toe shoes or boots for safety compliance. Employees are provided with uniforms to maintain a professional appearance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
