    Position Summary

    Reporting to Reporting to Shift Supervisor, the Pack Out Lead Person is responsible for supervising the Pack-out team and overseeing the pack-out process

    Position Responsibilities

    + Supervise and work alongside the Pack-Out (tote filling) employees.

    + Assure all pack-out employees comply with regulatory requirements as directed by the Plant Manager.

    + Assure that all employees assigned to the pack-out area comply with Olam Peanut Shelling Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Preventive Controls, and all other Food Safety policies.

    + Assure that all employees assigned to the pack-out area comply with the Olam Peanut Shelling Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) policy.

    + Operate the filling controls of the Pack-Out scale.

    + Assure the correct FSIS tags are used on the correct bags.

    + Inspect bags prior to filling for filth and debris, rejecting any potentially contaminated bags.

    + Record, document, and report to the Plant Manager any discrepancy to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs), or Preventive Controls.

    + Perform routine sanitary functions to maintain Safe Food manufacturing guidelines and in accordance with the Master Sanitation Schedule.

    + Work closely with maintenance personnel to keep equipment in standard operating condition.

    + In conjunction with QC personnel, assist in testing, recording, and documenting the Pack-Out magnet efficiency.

    + Ability to multi-task.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Position Requirements

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Ability to lead/supervise a team.

    + Previous experience in Pack Out Department is preferred.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
