Job Title: Process Operator
Job Description
Join a dynamic team at a leading ethanol production facility. As a Process Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient production. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and operating various equipment to support the supply of ethanol to major gas stations.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, forklifts, pumps, and valves.
+ Unload materials using a sit-down gas-powered forklift.
+ Monitor bearing temperatures and perform necessary checks.
+ Conduct Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
+ Operate and monitor a Distributed Control System (DCS) to manage tasks efficiently.
+ Enter data using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience as a Chemical Operator.
+ 5+ years of safety experience, particularly with OSHA standards.
+ 3-5 years of experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
+ 3+ years of mechanical troubleshooting experience.
+ Proficiency in chemical handling, mixing, production, and forklift operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Training on forklift operations (1+ year of experience).
+ Training on essential job functions and DCS system.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic navigation skills in Excel.
+ 1-2 years of experience operating boilers.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled, larger facility with 85 total employees. Engage in rotating shifts every six weeks, alternating between day and night shifts. The schedule includes days off during the week and requires wearing a hard hat, steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses. Collaborate daily within a group setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
