Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to perform wood and metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installation, and drywall backing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading blueprints and accurately laying out framing systems. Responsibilities include installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices. Candidates must be proficient with hand and power tools and understand construction safety standards. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential. Prior experience in commercial construction is required.
Responsibilities
+ Perform wood and metal stud framing.
+ Install acoustic ceilings and drywall backing.
+ Read blueprints and accurately lay out framing systems.
+ Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware including locks, closers, and panic devices.
+ Utilize hand and power tools proficiently.
+ Adhere to construction safety standards.
+ Work independently or as part of a team.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years experience in commercial construction.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.
+ Skilled in using hand and power tools.
+ Understanding of construction safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ OSHA 10 certification.
+ Experience with boom lifts and scissor lifts.

Work Environment
Candidates will be working in commercial environments with shift hours from 6am to 2:30pm or 7am to 3:30pm, depending on the job site. Proper safety attire, including hard hats, high visibility vests, and work boots, is required.
Job Type & Location
All Worksites are within a 50 mile radius of O'Hare Airport.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
