Job Title: HVAC Technician
Pay: $40/HR
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings, primarily focusing on retail stores. This role involves troubleshooting system issues, performing regular preventative maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. Providing excellent customer service and detailed service reports is a key part of this position, along with collaborating with leadership, vendors, and contractors.
Responsibilities
+ Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings, with a focus on retail stores.
+ Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and determine necessary repairs.
+ Perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
+ Ensure all installations and repairs meet industry standards and adhere to safety and environmental regulations.
+ Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs, maintenance needs, and system operation instructions to clients.
+ Document all service and installation actions and provide clients with detailed service reports.
+ Collaborate with leadership, vendors, and contractors to coordinate resources and resolve complex HVAC system issues.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in HVAC service, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
+ High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
+ EPA Universal Certification and OSHA 30 Certification required.
+ Proficiency in using iPads for work orders.
+ Strong understanding of HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, and package units.
+ Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage technically complex projects.
+ Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Additional technical training or certifications in HVAC systems.
