    Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist responsible for managing inventory functions, receiving products, and pulling parts to support production work orders and shipments. This role also involves packaging and crating parts to ensure their safe transport.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain accurate receiving logs.

    + Interact with Quality Control to verify customer and company specifications are met.

    + Allocate and release pick lists and generate packing lists.

    + Pull parts from inventory for work orders, sales orders, and material transactions.

    + Package and crate parts for shipments to protect them from shipping and handling damage.

    + Arrange pick-ups with freight carriers.

    + Ship products via truck, UPS, FedEx, etc.

    + Maintain accurate shipping logs.

    + Assign incoming stock's warehouse location per FIFO.

    + Place incoming stock into inventory warehouse.

    + Perform material requisition and inventory transactions in JDE.

    + Perform cycle counts and reconcile variances.

    Essential Skills

    + Two years’ experience in receiving, shipping, and inventory control.

    + Proficiency in UPS & FedEx online shipping.

    + Ability to lift 50lbs+.

    + Experience with inventory control, order selection, and packaging.

    + Knowledge of ERP systems and data entry.

    + Material handling and RF scanner usage.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with stand-up forklift operation.

    + Skill in using pallet jacks.

    + Steel-toed boots are required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
