Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking two skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians for the night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. The working hours are from 7pm to 7am. The role involves a blend of mechanical and electrical duties, focusing primarily on maintenance of blow molding equipment, conveyor lines, airveyers, and belt systems. Candidates will engage in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, and bearings. Electrical tasks include troubleshooting up to 480v single and three phase systems, handling sensors, lights, and control circuits, and reading blueprints and schematics. Experience in MIG and stick welding and fabrication is an advantage, along with general building maintenance tasks such as changing sockets and plumbing.

Responsibilities

+ Perform 60/40 mechanical vs electrical duties.

+ Conduct maintenance on blow molding equipment, conveyor lines, airveyers, and belt systems.

+ Engage in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical components including motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, and bearings.

+ Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v single and three phase.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

+ Conduct MIG and stick welding and fabrication.

+ Perform general building maintenance tasks including light ballets, socket changes, and plumbing.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.

+ Electrical troubleshooting expertise.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ PLC troubleshooting skills.

+ Experience with motors, plastics, and hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in MIG and stick welding and fabrication.

+ General building maintenance skills.

+ Advanced mechanical and electrical experience.
