Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Production Operator in a rapidly growing company specializing in machining and metal fabrication. Engage in a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth within a state-of-the-art 71,000 square foot facility.

Responsibilities

+ Produce parts and tools from metal or other materials using a CNC laser, ensuring precision cuts.

+ Review blueprints for finished products and adjust machines to control speed, material feed, and path of cut.

+ Ensure machines are set up properly, stocked with materials, and maintained to produce quality products.

+ Conduct periodic checks on machine output and inspect finished products for defects, ensuring readiness for the next production step.

Essential Skills

+ At least 3 years of manufacturing work history.

+ Experience with production machinery and equipment.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools, with ownership of personal tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with laser equipment and machinery.

+ Blueprint reading skills.

+ Strong math skills and attention to detail.

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

+ Self-motivated with attention to detail in quality and safety.

+ Ability to analyze blueprints and knowledge of manufacturing equipment.

Work Environment

Work in a job shop environment with a focus on the automotive industry, among others. Collaborate with other skilled welders and production staff in a 71,000 square foot facility. Operate in a fast-paced setting with a Monday to Friday schedule, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, and Saturday shifts as needed. Adhere to a dress code of jeans, shirt, and steel-toed boots, with uniforms provided upon direct hire.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marion, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.
