Job Title: Environmental Services Housekeeping

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in cleaning patient and discharge rooms at a rehabilitation facility. Each room requires deep cleaning, which takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Responsibilities include making beds, flipping mattresses, thoroughly cleaning, and disinfecting entire rooms. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting linens into large, heavy bags and transporting them to the laundry chute.

Responsibilities

+ Clean patient and discharge rooms thoroughly within an average of 20-30 minutes.

+ Make beds and flip mattresses as part of the cleaning process.

+ Disinfect and sanitize entire rooms, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

+ Collect linens and transport them in large, heavy bags to the laundry chute.

+ Interact professionally with patients, nurses, doctors, and other housekeeping staff.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial duties, general labor, and environmental services.

+ Strong attendance record and punctuality.

+ Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients and staff.

+ Exceptional customer service skills to manage interactions with diverse individuals.

+ Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and push 200lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 6 months of previous experience in hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping is preferred.

Work Environment

The position is based in a climate-controlled rehabilitation facility, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Various shifts are available: 6-2:30 and 10-6:30

$17/HR

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
