    Job Title: CDL B Driver

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CDL B Driver to safely operate a tanker truck, adhering to all traffic control devices while servicing customer sites. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, ensuring all company health and safety requirements are followed. This position involves performing pre and post-trip inspections, handling a 3" hose, shoveling tank bottoms into drums, and wearing full face respirators and PPE for tank cleaning. You must be proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmission trucks, cleaning up product spills when necessary, and lifting up to 50 lbs. The job requires working outdoors and managing weather conditions, driving within the 5 boroughs, PA, and NJ, while effectively communicating with customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely operate tanker truck and obey all traffic control devices.

    + Service customer needs during 8-10 hour shifts, balancing driving and site visits.

    + Perform pre and post-trip inspections on the provided truck.

    + Move a 3" hose and shovel tank bottoms into drums.

    + Wear full face respirators and PPE to enter and clean tanks.

    + Drive both manual and automatic transmission trucks proficiently.

    + Clean up product spills properly when necessary.

    + Lift up to 50 lbs and work outside, managing weather conditions.

    + Drive within the 5 boroughs, PA, and NJ.

    + Effectively communicate with customers.

    Essential Skills

    + CDL B License with Tanker Endorsement.

    + Valid medical card and clear MVR record.

    + Ability to obtain a TWIC card and pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug test.

    + Pass road test monitored by an approved licensed driver.

    + 40-hour OSHA training and confined space certification preferred.

    + Comfortable climbing on top of the tanker truck and attaching/detaching hoses.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Hazmat endorsement preferred.

    + Confined space certification is a plus but not mandatory.

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
