    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic union working environment where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for providing quick responses to machine malfunctions and performing preventative maintenance throughout the plant.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide quick response to machine malfunctions.

    + Perform preventative maintenance throughout the plant.

    + Perform lubrication, repair, mechanical troubleshooting, and resolution of machines and equipment.

    + Work with hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and install variable frequency drives, motors, sensors, switches, and photo eyes.

    + Conduct, maintain, test, and repair electrical/electronic components.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience.

    + Electrical troubleshooting experience with 480v, single and three-phase power.

    + Knowledge of motors, servos, pumps, relays, controls, and power transmission systems.

    + Basic PLC troubleshooting experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.

    + Experience in preventive maintenance and schematic interpretation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a union environment on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Expect to work the first two Saturdays and Sundays of the month with the last two Sundays off. The average workweek is 48 hours with potential overtime. No work on holidays. Dress in jeans, short sleeve shirts, and steel toe boots.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Wooster, Ohio.

    The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $74880.00/yr.
