    Job Title: Welder - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Welder where you will be instrumental in crafting custom stands for vehicles used by major automotive groups. You will apply your skills in TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel, ranging from 2 inches to 16 gauge, in a balanced 50/50 split between TIG and MIG techniques.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel components.

    + Operate a brake press, saw, and perform some assembly tasks as needed.

    + Work from detailed blueprints to ensure precise fabrication.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding with at least 2 years of experience.

    + Experience working with stainless steel and sheet metal.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints with a minimum of 2 years of experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a fabrication environment is advantageous.

    + Familiarity with operating brake presses and saws is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm in a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled fabrication shop. This smaller shop houses only three people in the Welding/Fabrication department, fostering a close-knit team environment. Dress code includes jeans, a work-appropriate shirt, and steel-toed footwear.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00/hr.
