Job Title: Welder/Fabricator/Fitter

Job Description

We are seeking skilled welder/fitters to join our team in welding steel barriers. In addition to MIG welding, candidates may also be required to perform some TIG welding. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading blueprints and be prepared to undergo a weld test and a pre-employment, post-offer drug screen.

Responsibilities

+ Weld steel government barriers using MIG welding techniques.

+ Perform TIG welding as needed.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Demonstrate proficiency in pipefitting and grinding.

+ Ensure high-quality welding of carbon and steel materials.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in MIG Welding.

+ Proficiency in Flux Core Welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience in pipefitting.

+ Skill in grinding techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in welding carbon and steel is essential.

+ Ability to pass a weld test.

Work Environment

The role operates on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The work environment requires wearing steel toe boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. Punctuality is crucial, with time deductions for late arrivals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
