    Job Description

    The machine operator is responsible for the overall operation of machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality goods while meeting deadlines safely. The role involves training and guiding assistant machine operators, assisting in the creation of SOPs and other production documentation, performing inventory data entry, and cross-training into other job functions as needed. Routine attendance at departmental, production, safety, and company meetings is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery to ensure production of quality products.

    + Provide training and general direction to assistant machine operators.

    + Assist in creating SOPs and production-related documentation.

    + Perform inventory data entry.

    + Cross-train into other job functions as required.

    + Attend departmental, production, safety, and company meetings routinely.

    Essential Skills

    + Forklift & Machine operation

    + 1+ years of experience in manufacturing

    + Experience with overhead crane operations

    + Knowledge of lockout tagout procedures

    + Machine setup and troubleshooting skills

    + High School Diploma/GED

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
