    Aerotek is hiring MIG Welders for a company located in Batesville, MS. These positions are direct hire on 1st shift (6am-230pm). Pay rages $20-28/hr depending on experience and ability to perform a weld test. Please apply for immediate consideration.

    Job Description

    The primary role involves using MIG welding techniques to weld aluminum stud frames, walls, and roofs to create enclosures. You will also weld secondary and supporting components for enclosures and steel tanks, assemble and weld walls around fuel tanks, and test welds for leaks, completing spot welds where needed. Collaboration with Quality Control is essential to ensure all weld work meets specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Weld aluminum stud frames, walls, and roofs using MIG welding techniques.

    + Weld secondary and supporting components for enclosures.

    + Weld steel tanks and assemble walls around fuel tanks.

    + Test welds for leaks and complete spot welds where needed.

    + Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure compliance with specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 1 year experience in MIG welding.

    + Experience in light and medium gauge fabrication.

    + Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. without assistance.

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure and performing basic math computations.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to interpret shop drawings.

    + AWS Certification is preferred.

    + Technical Degree or Certification is preferred.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
