    Assisted Living Culinary Aide

    Job Description

    The primary purpose of this role is to assist in food preparation and service while maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas. You will work under the guidance of the Food Service Director to ensure compliance with all health, sanitary, and infection control policies, and adhere to the community's Dietary Policies and Procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the preparation and service of meals.

    + Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.

    + Follow all health and safety standards as outlined by the administration.

    + Perform additional duties as directed by representatives of the community.

    Essential Skills

    + Food preparation and service experience.

    + Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitary guidelines.

    + Customer service skills.

    + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

    + Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Currently enrolled in a high school program or possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is preferred.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in English.

    + Demonstrate the ability to carry out directions.

    + Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors, co-workers, and community staff.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is located in an assisted living facility. You will work scheduled hours based on the needs of the position, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and sanitary techniques are observed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $14.25 - $14.75/hr.
