Job Title: Low Voltage Installation Technician – Territory Service (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour (Mileage reimbursed)

Overview:

Aerotek is hiring Low Voltage Cable Technicians to support the installation, upgrade, and service of client sites across regionally aligned territories. This is a night shift role involving travel to various commercial and industrial locations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Travel to client sites during overnight hours to install, upgrade, and maintain low voltage systems including:

+ Interior and exterior surveillance cameras

+ Access control systems and gateways

+ Structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6)

+ Wireless access points and related infrastructure

+ Perform system testing, configuration, and troubleshooting of low voltage and electro-mechanical systems

+ Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

+ Maintain accurate documentation using a company-provided mobile app

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications:

+ Mechanically inclined with a strong understanding of electronics and low voltage systems

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

+ Comfortable climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 lbs

+ Proficiency with mobile documentation tools

+ Prior experience with CCTV, access control, or structured cabling preferred

+ Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally

Additional Notes:

+ This is a night shift position

+ Mileage is reimbursed

+ Candidates must supply their own basic tools and PPE

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
