Job Summary
The IS Governance Leader is a strategically minded facilitator tasked with managing and maturing the governance framework ensuring integration between BSWH IS and our multiple Managed Service Providers (MSPs). The Governance Leader ensures adherence to Governance and Service Level Management expectations amongst all participants, overseeing the maintenance of end-to-end service models. This role will provide key leadership, facilitation, and program management responsibilities, including reporting to C-Suite level leaders and operating as a liaison between all internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Functions of the Role
•** **Governance Leadership & Strategy.
+ Lead and maintain the IS/MSP Governance Model across BSWH and its MSPs
+ Maintain the model, including roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and escalation paths
+ Develop and manage governance structures, meetings, policies, and reporting mechanisms to support oversight, control, and accountability across all Stakeholders
•** **Relationship & Stakeholder Management.
o Serve as the key point of contact and accountability across internal and external stakeholders
**o** Build collaborative partnerships with MSPs and internal teams to ensure trust, alignment, and shared goals
**o** Chair meetings and related forums
•** **Risk & Issue Management.
o Oversee integrated risk and issue management frameworks, including identification, escalation, resolution, and mitigation strategies across MSPs and BSWH IS
**o** Ensure risks are documented, reviewed, and managed consistently in line with standards
• **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement.**
o Promote a culture of collaborative continuous improvement, focusing on integrated service value rather than siloed performance
o Monitor service trends and customer feedback to drive evolution of governance practices, tooling, and policies
Key Success Factors
• Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills
• Understanding of SIAM principles of governance, ideally with practical experience implementing or managing multi-faceted governance and/or programs
• Experience in defining and operating governance forums, KPIs, dashboards, and risk/compliance frameworks
• Experience working in complex, regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, public sector)

QUALIFICATIONS
+ EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification, Master's preferred
+ EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience, 7+ years of progressive Leadership experience in IT, Program Management, Service Management, Organizational Change Management, Contract/Vendor Management and/or Integrated Service Delivery within a complex organization preferred
+ PMP, ITSM, or ITIL Certifications preferred
