Job Title: Cable Harness Technician
Job Description
The Cable Harness Technician will perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools and electric tooling as required per specified procedures. The role involves assembling wiring harnesses, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and conducting tests to maintain quality.
Job Type & Location
+ This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Van Nuys, California
Shift
+ 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay
+ $22.00 - $30.00 pending experience and interview
Responsibilities
+ Perform wire cutting and twisting operations with precision.
+ Execute crimping and soldering operations effectively.
+ Conduct splicing and inserting operations according to procedures.
+ Perform in-process inspections to maintain quality standards.
+ Assemble wiring harnesses, ensuring compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards.
+ Route and secure wire harnesses within vehicle assemblies as per engineering documentation.
+ Conduct electrical continuity tests and inspections to identify and resolve issues.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in cable assembly processes.
+ Ability to ensure compliance with **IPC/WHMA-A-620** standards.
+ Experience in routing and securing wire harnesses within vehicle assemblies.
+ Skilled in conducting electrical continuity tests and inspections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with engineering documentation related to wiring harnesses.
Work Environment
Work involves bench-type processes using hand tools and electric tooling. The role requires adherence to specified procedures and standards, ensuring quality and compliance within a dynamic and precise work setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
