    Job Title: Assembly Technician ($19-22/hr.+)

    Job Description

    We are seeking two skilled Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. The role involves small part assembly of optical lenses and requires meticulous attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new assembly line that will transition from slow to fast-paced production.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform bench work for small part assembly of optical lenses.

    + Assemble kits for optical lenses using custom hand tools.

    + Lift and handle parts weighing up to 30 lbs.

    + Conduct lens assembling, purging, sealing, and optical tests.

    + Package finished products with precision.

    + Operate automated equipment as new lens line is installed.

    + Ensure high attention to detail and steady hand for repetitive work.

    + Handle delicate plastic sheets with gloves.

    + Participate in training others as production ramps up.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years experience in small part assembly.

    + Proficiency in reading work instructions.

    + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

    + Experience with kitting and shipping processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in clean room or lab environment is a plus.

    + Electronics experience is advantageous.

    + Experience using a microscope is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The position involves working at a bench in a very clean, temperature-controlled environment. Employees are provided with their own space as the company continues to grow. The manufacturing area is well-lit and adheres to clean room standards without the need for steel toe boots.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macedonia, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
