Job Title: Preventative Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 1st shift Preventative Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and basic reactive maintenance on machines throughout our plant. This role involves spending 70% of your time focusing on preventative maintenance tasks such as lubing, greasing, and part replacement, while the remaining 30% will involve responding to reactive line calls to troubleshoot equipment using tools like voltmeters.

Responsibilities

+ Complete detailed preventative maintenance schedules on machines throughout the campus.

+ Work on machines including industrial saws, hand and power tools, welders, torches, plasma cutters, hoists, and material handling equipment.

+ Grease bearings and check oil levels on machines.

+ Replace faulty parts with new ones and follow blueprints if available.

+ Use voltmeters or multi-meters while troubleshooting machines.

+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with occasional electrical troubleshooting.

+ Collaborate with maintenance technicians on more complex breakdowns.

+ Assist team members with various projects throughout the plant.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of mechanical experience in automotive, industrial, or diesel settings involving motors, pumps, and valves.

+ 1+ years of preventative maintenance experience including lubing, greasing, changing oil, and swapping parts.

+ Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to be a self-starter and manage time effectively.

Hours:

The 1st shift hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $47840.00/yr.
