Job Title: Machine Builder
Job Description
This position involves assembling and wiring controls on newly built machinery. The role includes working with main control panels, junction boxes, pneumatic and hydraulic valves, various safety devices, PLC, HMI, Motor Control, Control Network, and peripheral related automated industrial control systems. The machine builder is expected to troubleshoot and read mechanical and pneumatic prints, as well as schematic drawings.
Responsibilities
+ Mount and wire controls on newly built machinery.
+ Work with main control panels, junction boxes, pneumatic and hydraulic valves.
+ Install various safety devices, PLC, HMI, Motor Control, and Control Network.
+ Field custom automated machines and troubleshoot issues.
+ Read and interpret mechanical and pneumatic prints, and schematic drawings.
+ Perform general assembly and wiring tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of experience as a machine builder.
+ Ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic prints.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading including mechanical, pneumatic, and schematic drawings.
+ General assembly and wiring skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with automated industrial control systems.

Work Environment
The facility is large, and the work environment is deadline-sensitive yet laid-back. Employees work four ten-hour shifts with Fridays off, with hours from 6am to 4:30pm or 7am to 5:30pm.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
