Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

Work directly with the supervisor to conduct preventative maintenance, routine and emergency repairs on equipment and plant structures. A significant portion of your responsibilities will involve servicing and repairing robot welders. This role requires a multi-crafted candidate with both mechanical and electrical skills. Recent repair tasks have included work on chillers, motor swaps, process water systems, air compressors, piece changes on robots, facilities work, and conveyor upkeep.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct preventative maintenance, routine and emergency repairs on equipment and plant structures.

+ Service and repair robot welders, primarily Fanuc models.

+ Perform repairs on chillers, motor swaps, and process water systems.

+ Maintain air compressors and conduct piece changes on robots.

+ Handle facilities work and conveyor upkeep.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs.

+ Work with AC/DC drives and pneumatics.

+ Bend conduit and handle heavy electrical tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical troubleshooting expertise.

+ Robotics experience, particularly with robotic welding (95% Fanuc).

+ Proficiency in AC/DC drives troubleshooting.

+ Strong pneumatics knowledge.

+ Experience in bending conduit and handling heavy electrical tasks.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience with robotics, PLC, electrical, and mechanical skills will be considered Journeyman Level.

+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience is a must.

+ Robotics experience is a significant advantage but not required.

+ Preferred background in automotive maintenance.

+ Maintenance degree is preferred.

Work Environment

Join a team environment that is climate-controlled and housed in a newer, clean facility built in 2016. The absence of presses contributes to the cleanliness and reduced noise levels. Work the 3rd shift from 10:30pm to 6:30am, Sunday through Thursday, with three openings available.

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $122000.00/yr.
