    Job Title: Cable Technician in Memphis

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team in supporting the expansion and construction of a new building. You will be responsible for pulling and installing low voltage cables, primarily working with telecommunications systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Pull low voltage cables efficiently and effectively.

    + Install cabling for telecommunications systems.

    + Set up and pull cables according to specifications.

    + Utilize knowledge of cat5 and cat6 cables.

    + Demonstrate proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience in low voltage wiring and cable pulling.

    + Proficiency in handling cat5 and cat6 cables.

    + Ability to read and work from blueprints.

    + Experience with conduit bending and installation.

    + Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of construction processes and fire alarm systems.

    + Familiarity with telecommunications systems and cabling.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The role involves working on an active construction site, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. You will be provided with a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves, but must supply your own safety boots and vest.

    This is a Contract position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
