Job Title: CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join a leading precision metal fabrication company that serves diverse industries including Aerospace, Medical, Appliance, Defense Contracting, and Architectural. We specialize in crafting high-quality parts for notable clients such as Sub Zero, UPS, and military applications.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and run production jobs efficiently and within quality standards on CNC machines, including Mazak models.

+ Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machines.

+ Work from blueprints to ensure accurate machining processes.

+ Interpret data from CMM and manual measurements, adjusting machining processes for dimensional and visual compliance.

+ Edit machine programs as needed.

+ Handle part runs ranging from 10 to 200 pieces.

+ Lift up to 25 pounds regularly; use a lift for anything around 50 pounds.

Essential Skills

+ 5 years of experience setting up and running CNC Mill or Lathe.

+ Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.

+ Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.

+ Experience with CNC setup and operation, including 3 & 4 Axis Machines.

+ Capability to edit programs at the machine, with G&M code experience as a plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with 5-axis machines is a plus.

+ No technical degree required, but it is considered a value add.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, clean shop alongside approximately 100 colleagues. Our 1st shift runs Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with optional overtime available. Safety is a priority; steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Verona, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Growing rapidly and sales are through the roof: 50M in sales and working towards 80M\

Bonus structure below. If it's under $500, it gets paid at 60 days. Anything over gets paid at 6 months and a year.
