Job Title: Avionics Technician needed in Pennsylvania
Pay: 160 a day per diem, 35-48 an hour
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician with hands-on experience in cable installations, terminations, crimping, pinning, and soldering. The ideal candidate will be adept at assembling, modifying, and installing wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components, while meticulously documenting work performed and managing equipment status tags. The role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and written instructions, utilizing various manual hand tools and complex aircraft test equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and other electrical components.
+ Document work performed, manage equipment status tags, and log critical information during installation.
+ Verify parts requests and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, and wiring diagrams.
+ Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and supervision.
+ Perform duties across all shifts, regardless of weather or physical conditions, while adhering to safety protocols.
Essential Skills
+ Avionic experience with troubleshooting and functional testing.
+ Expertise in aircraft avionics, systems, wiring, and wire harnesses.
+ Proficiency in reading schematics and performing avionics installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
+ Soldering and working with coaxial cables.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Preferred 4+ years of electrical/avionic aviation production experience; military experience considered.
+ Knowledge of rotary or fixed-wing aircrafts.
+ General knowledge of aviation electrical/avionic components and systems.

Work Environment
The role is based in either the final assembly helicopter line or flight line, offering a dynamic and hands-on environment. Opportunities are available for both 1st and 2nd shifts, with no tools required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
