Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using rollers, brushes, and HVLP sprayers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in surface preparation, paint mixing, and precision application. Your expertise will ensure smooth, even finishes that meet professional standards.

Responsibilities

+ Apply paint and coatings to various interior and exterior surfaces using rollers, brushes, and HVLP sprayers.

+ Prepare surfaces by masking, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion.

+ Mix and apply paint with precision, ensuring a clean and even finish.

+ Follow safety procedures and correctly handle painting equipment and materials.

+ Work independently or collaborate with a team to meet project deadlines.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in commercial or industrial painting.

+ Expertise in surface preparation, paint mixing, and finish application.

+ Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

+ Familiarity with painting safety standards and best practices.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Aurora, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
